Saddle up, boot lovers! All-new styles from legendary boot brand HYER have rolled into Nigro’s Western Store!
Every great western has a good comeback story, and HYER Boots might have one of the best. The original company dates all the way back to the late 1800s and is often credited with inventing the modern-day cowboy boot. Legend has it that an unnamed cowboy, just off a long cattle drive, walked into C.H. Hyer’s cobbler shop and requested a pair of custom boots with a narrow toe profile, a raised heel, and a scalloped top. Little did Hyer know that the boot he was about to construct would become one of the great icons of the American West – the cowboy boot!
Today, the HYER brand is back and better than ever. Great-great-grandson of C.H. Hyer, Zach Lawless, has done an exceptional job of reviving the 150-year-old brand. Lawless made sure that all HYER boots still maintain those classic features that made them famous, while he also modernized the brand with innovative features for improved durability and comfort. In the saddle or on the town, HYER boots strike the perfect balance of built-tough resilience and timeless style.
